63rd COMMEMORATIVE INDONESIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY in CHICAGO'S DALEY PLAZA/CITY HALL in Chicago, as follows:

12:00 pm (on time) - end by 1:00 pm.
Venue:
Chicago's Daley Plaza (in front of Chicago's City Hall - Corner of Dearborn St and Washington St)
Dress: Formal Attire (Batik / Traditional)
Ceremonial event:
- The Indonesian flag-raising ceremony in observance of Indonesian Independence Day in Chicago.
- Grand openings, Open mic, Presentation of dignitaries including congratulatory remarks by Barack Obama (Representative) and other elected officials.
- Jan Jeffcoat (FOX TV News), Nesita Kwan (NBC 5), Marc Rita (Actor/Producer) will be making a special appearance. TV Media coverage by Comcast TV, SunCast TV etc.
- Indonesian musical "gamelan" instrument and Indonesian traditional dance entertainment: Klenengan gilak (welcoming guest), Puspawresti, Janger, Cendrawasih, and "Merah Putih" (Red White) by: Indonesian Consulate General Dance Troupe.
Free admission & open to the public.
